For mothers day I gave Mom a couple of nights at SSR. For fathers day I thought I could buy a round of golf.

What golf coarse for a serious golfer with low handicap and can win tournaments (not pga.) I am sure he would want to play the PGA corse, which ever one it is.

Do you know if I can pre buy a golf round or get a ticket or card for a round of golf?

I would definitely consider DH a "golfer with a low handicapper who can win tournaments" and he's played all the courses, some several times. I don't know that you can buy anything like a specific gift certificate for a round of golf. I think there's a debit card type-thing specific to Disney. If they're going around Father's Day, I'm not sure which courses will be closed-I think Palm and maybe Osprey Ridge. For lots of info on the courses, you might want to check this website:

Golf courses are a matter of personal preference. Most golfers would argue that the two courses on which the PGA Tour tournament is played each October (Palm and Magnolia) are not the "best" golf courses that Disney has to offer. I think most golfers will tell you that Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines are the top courses at Disney and the most interesting to play. The golfers I have talked to like Eagle Pines a little better, but Osprey Ridge is generally considered to be the tougher and higher rated of the two. I have played the Lake Buena Vista course (which used to be part of the PGA tour tournament) and it was quite fun and interesting to play, and I will play it again. It is lower rated than the other courses, but many golfers will tell you that it is the most fun of the courses to play. So....personal preference enters in a lot.

thanks for the reply's. I am not familar with golf and I was wanting to suprise him with it, so I could not ask where he would play. After looking at the website, I think I have him play at the Magnolia (just because he would like to play where the tourny was at. And he will be there the week following the event.

Then for fun, and to make sure he shoots a good score, I'l have him play at the LBV.
