Some excursion ideas on Western with an 18-month old

Good afternoon!

When we last cruised on the Wonder with our little guy, he was 9-months. We simply booked excursions with no age limit, stuck him in a backpack and went. We were afraid to pre-book excursions until we knew how he responded to Flounders.

That said, so many of the excursions on the Western have age limits. Are there any (DCL sponsored or otherwise) ideas on what would be good to take our little guy with us? We still have our backpack/stroller convertible so we'll be set that way. And, We still plan to use Flounders, but we don't want to pre-book anything except excursions where we can take DS just in case we can't get the sitting lined up.

THANKS in advance!!

Capt Marvins has snorkel excursions with no age limits. You could take him in with you in Stingray City, it isn't very deep. We loved Capt Marvins with our toddler. Smaller groups and lots more play time. We are doing Paradise Island (on our own) in Cozumel. Free, clean bathrooms, great food and shade if you need it. We will have an 11 month old.

We did Captain Marvins with our son 19 months. He loved the boat ride. The driver also let him drive the boat. I stayed on the boat while DH went off with DD. After the excursion, the driver dropped us off at Seven Mile beach for the afternoon and we took a cab back. We did bring the DCL stroller on every excursion we did.
