Finally REMEMBERED the glow sticks, and my DT has them on the end cap facing the back of the store--definitely recheck yours now if they didn't have it before; Halloween stuff is now out

I got the kind that comes with connectors and can be made into necklaces/glasses--anybody tried them? Are they any good?

I just got a pack of the glasses too. Asked my DS-11, who was there with me, "Would you where these?" He nodded so I got them. They look like they would be too big for DD-2. Do they actually stay on the kid's faces?

Ya! I'm getting so excited! We're staying at a villa in Hampton Lakes. Our family looks like this:
Me-5'3", usually wear my brown hair up in a ponytail or something. I'll have my lime green ribbon pinned to my shirt!
DH- 6'1", blonde, glasses.
DS-14, brunette.
DS-11, light brown hair, glasses
DS-6, brown hair
DD-2, blonde curls.

Hi all!

Just returned from a trip to Dollar Tree with a great find.

I bought several small handheld fans that use two AA batteries. I was skeptical as to whether they would actually circulate air, but I must admit that it really sends out a good breeze. Each one came with a strap that can be used to hang the fan around your neck. My DD4.5 and DD2.5 are so excited that they'll have their own mini-fans to use during our Sept. 27-Oct. 4 trip. Dollar Tree also had the mini mister fans, but my kids have an aversion to being sprayed with water. I thought these little fans were a particularly great buy, especially for those with small kids.

You can also buy packs of Panasonic batteries there and at $1 per pack, you can't go wrong with that either.
