Here's a few items I saw yesterday that would be useful for a Disney trip:

Sea & Ski SPF 30 sunscreen
Sunscreen for kids that goes on purple
Water "wings"
Packages of 6 glow sticks, or necklaces and bracelets
Disney Magix cookies (or as my 2-year old calls them "Mickey Mouse cookies")
Big Rugrats window clings (to entertain the kids in the car)
Disney keychains
Assorted Pooh character Pez dispensers

Not necessarily Disney related, but they've also had Caress and Lever 2000 body wash in recently (I got the last bottle of Caress in my store--the clerk said they've sold 30 cases of it!)

Wow, my dollar tree didn't have those.. I would get more magix cookies!

Got the Pooh and Friends Pez. Just a note - Piglet was the hardest to find. Dollar Tree had tons of Pooh, Eyeore and Tigger, but only one Piglet.
On the hunt for glow sticks and those keychains!
off to dollar tree....

Don't get the purple sunscreen, if it is a foam type! I tried this, and it stained everything! And, my dd was purple for quite a while! Ok, my favorite color is purple, but enough is enough!!! So, unless you would like your clothes to be stained purple, I would not suggest buying it!! :)

I also picked up about 4 boxes of the cookies! What a deal! Now, if my dd2 would just eat them, instead of licking the center and throwing the rest away!! :p

We got the ponchos which held up great, used them all week.

Bought the fans and they were useless. Threw them out the first day.

I bought a pack of 5 toothbrushes. Use 4 for the family and used the fifth one as a coffee stirrer! (The refillable mugs are too deep for the regular stirrers.) We threw them out when we left.

Watch the sunscreen, we bought the Sea & Ski at the beginning of the year and my DD burned while wearing it. (after 2 hours without being in any water) There was no expiration date on it. I look for that now.

I bought some a couple weeks ago and it had a 12/03 expiration date on it, so hopefully it should be okay.

Thanks to the above poster about the warning on the purple foam sunscreen. I was in a hurry and assumed it was the type of sunscreen that goes on colored so that you can apply it good and then fades away. I don't want my kid to look like a miniature Barney ;)

aw, bummer about the fans--I had bought some a few months ago for our trip coming up; wonder if it's the same ones--little tie string, batteries?

thanks for the heads-up about the glow sticks, et al! gotta go back :)

Yep, those are it. The string fell off constantly, the top grid that covers the fan came off, etc.

We bought the Misty fans in the park instead (17 bucks each!) and those kept breaking too---but when they broke we could just take them back to any vendor that sold them and they would replace it. Went through about 5 of those fans and replaced them in all four parks!

goodness! good thing they replaced 'em :)

maybe I can still get a couple of minutes of quiet if we let the three and five yr olds play with the fans in our 16 hour car ride--or do you think that's just irresponsible :)

I haven't opened them up yet. My little 5 yr old is autistic but LOVES spinning fans!

Check your PMs....My autistic son loved the mini-fan but kept trying to touch it with his tongue - good thing it's foam (we got the Disney ones when they had that awesome sale).

Ha ha! About a week ago I asked the mgr. of our recently opened Dollar Tree if they were going to get any of these in and she told me no, that they are a summer item. I know from past years that dollar stores usually get them in for Halloween too, so I mentioned this to her. She got a very insulted look on her face (probably didn't like a customer knowing something she did not) and in a snotty way said, "Well then check the store again around Halloween!" then walked away. I checked back 4 days later and they had a ton of them! I stocked up.

I'll be back soon and will look for the other items the OP mentioned. Thanks for posting this!
Also, thanks to all for the sunscreen tips.

The Dollar Tree near me has the Pez dispensers for Pooh and the gang and they also have them for Mickey,Minnie,Donald, Goofy and Pluto. Very cute.

Just wanted to add that the glow sticks really are a great idea - and make it easier to keep your family/group together. You should have gone up to the manager to ring up your glow stick purchase!!;)

Well, I did look for her but noticed another woman with a manager name tag was on duty that day. My DH couldn't believe that I did not "respond" to her rudeness that first day. When I told him the story he said, "And you let her get away with that?!?" I guess I'm mellowing in my old age.:)

I found Disney "Together We Learn" workbooks! They are Grade Specific ie 1st Grade and Subject such as Phonics and Reading. They have 2 pages of Large Disney Character Stickers with encouraging words like SPLENDID! at the bottom. Really cute and my boys will have them to work in on the plane.

I had also purchased the Magix Cookies for our next trip, but my DS has to take snack to daycare once a month and I thought these would be cute so I had to get more. They are pretty good and the kids like them.

DRAT--

I just got back from our DT--

no cookies there
no pez there
no Caress wash there

and I FORGOT the glow sticks (again!)

* Got the two packs of ponchos (bought 2)
* Got the mini umbrella
* Got a Disney sticker pack (two sheets)
