Some Disney Quest Questions and Winter Summerland ? too!

DH and I just realized that we have vouchers for DQ admission in our newest Mickey Mail. So he would like to take a peek in. (He's always wanted to go but didn't want to pay extra. I have a feeling this is going to cost us in the long run for future trips. That dang mouse is sooooo smart! )

Anyway, we are looking at our plans and trying to decide how to fit it in. What is Disney Quest NEAR? Is it something that we can only get to from a resort (like Downtown Disney?) What is the closest resort?

Also, I looked on the Dining Brochure. It seemed that there is dining at Disney Quest but it is NOT covered under the dining plan. So if we wanted to go to eat afterwards would it be best to go back to a resort?

Winter Summerland- What is that near? The reviews that I read said it is better maintained than Fantasia. Do you agree with that?

Disney Quest is located in DTD. Plenty of dining in the area, problem is deciding on which one. LOL.

Winter Summerland is located next to Blizzrd Beach not far from AK.

Just type them in google maps to get a better idea.

DQ food is not so great so you're not missing out. We find DQ fun but you'd probably be done there in a few hours if you wanted to dine at a resort.

For dining when you go to DQ, I'd suggest checking out some of the DTD restaurants rather than eating at DQ. Lots of really good restaurant choices.

We've never been and I'm going in Sept with my DS8 and I plan on using our vouchers too. Is it a place where we would get sucked in all day or could we do it in 3 hours or so? We don't have a lot if wiggle room for this trip.
