We ate at

Kona Cafe--appetizer salad was great, shellfish soup was great. We had the surf and turf (filet with shrimp). It was wonderful. Dessert was creme brulee and lava cake. Beware, all Disney eateries serve Creme Brulee cold. We prefer ours hot. A-

Ohanas---loved the shrimp, sticky wings, salad and bread pudding and we had a basket of wonton chips and wontons. Didnt like the meat skewers. The pork was very, very dry. The steak was raw (purple even). The service was poor as well. C+

Concourse Steakhouse---I had the filet with sweet mashed white potatoes. It was very good. DH had the NY strip with a port wine butter sauce which was terrible. Dessert was cobbler which was awesome. B+

1900 Park Faire---dinner was grand. The prime rib was scrumptious. They had pork tenderloin that was also very good. The strawberry soup tasted like yogurt to us. Charcter interaction was great. DD loved Cinderella. The mice kept coming over and tickling DD. A+

I will finish the others later.

Did you notice if the KoKo Puffs were still on the dessert menu? I noticed on the menu on Deb Wills site the KoKo pUffs were not listed. Hope you had a magical trip ... thanks ... :flower:

KelliR - We were at Kona this summer on my DD's birthday, they brought out a plate with one Koko puff and the words "Happy 16th birthday" in chocolate! :goodvibes When we mentioned to the server that this is our favorite dessert, she told us this is the only way to get it now - for a special occasion. Yet, when we visited on another day, and mentioned our disappointment over the menu changes*no Mahi sandwich, no koko puffs, no Calabash breakfast* the server this time said you can request koko puffs even though they are no longer on the menu. :confused3

Not sure which is correct, as we were too full to order dessert at lunch time! Maybe someone will request them between now and my next trip in Dec., and post! :teeth:

Iluvthemouse (or anybody who knows),
Lately I've noticed people referring to a menu change at 'Ohana, could you clarify that for me. One specific change I'm wondering about is with the shrimp- do they still offer the skewers of tiger shrimp?

We just came back 9-16 and when we ate at Ohana they had shrimp. I don't know if it was tiger shrimp. It was rather big pieces. I would say 3 inches+ .............hope that helps!

I was just at CRT and my key lime creme brulee was very warm, which is why I liked it. I normally don't, but wanted to try the key lime one.
