Been going with my girls (now 10 and 12) 3x a year since they were 2 and 4….. looking for some
Different things to do, besides the obvious rides and nighttime shows…is there a scavenger hunt in Epcot anymore? Or any other out of the ordinary ideas?

Bowling in Disney Springs? Mini golf? Maybe a water park? Curious to hear what others say. Great question!

We went fishing with my kids this past summer (7, 9 and 12) and they loved it! It was their first time. You can book a fishing excursion that goes in Bay Lake by MK or over by the International Gateway and Hollywood Studios. Our guide baited the hooks for us, 1 of my kids did not want to touch the fish at all so the guide held the fish in front of her when we took pictures.
We're also trying archery, kayaking and horseback riding on our upcoming spring break trip.

Where is archery???? That sounds great! Always want to bowl and mini golf!!!

What was the price for the fishing excursion if you don't mind me asking? That sounds fun but I'm guessing it's pricey.

As an added idea...If you want to fish there on a budget there are options to fish dockside with rental equipment at Ft Wilderness I believe.

Mini golf, painting a ceramic book or castle at GF or Contemporary, bowling, characters in flight, surrey bikes, fishing.

maybe trying a different restaurant?

It was a little over $200 for 2 hours up to 5 people and I think I got a DVC discount. Non-alcoholic beverages (power aid, water, soda) are included along with a few snacks. This rate was comparable to, if not cheaper, than what I would pay around me.

Totally understand if you are focused on Disney only, but our girls really enjoyed Harry Potter at Universal at that age. Really great memories getting away for a day.

I second and third the fishing trip. We were a larger group and had to split up on two boats, but it's just wonderful and each boat caught over 30 fish. My kids LOOOOOVE it and I don't think it's that expensive at all. I forget exactly how much but you do also get a DVC discount.

My kids love the Mickey Tie Dye shirts that they can make at the pool and they are a really cheap amazing keepsake. We buy them big because they love to sleep in them. We actually checked the calendar the last time we were there because a couple of the kids missed it the last time and they really wanted to make some for themselves.

I believe you can also do the activities at AK Villias and earn the beads even if you are not staying there.

We are looking forward to seeing Drawn to Life on this upcoming trip and all the kids loved La Nouba when we went.

Of course there is Galaxy's Edge which was really fun and we splurged for the kids to do lightsabers and droids. I asked which they liked more and they couldn't pick. They said they were both amazing.

There is a professional photo shoot that DVC members can sign up for in which you go to the parks before they open and a professional photographer takes pictures. That is something we always wanted to do but never made it fit into our schedule.

Also, you could do a spa visit and just get a manicure, I think a couple of the spas may have opened up.

We did the backstage AK tour, caring for Giants and that was really cool but I think it might be closed.

In the end, I have to say, I can't rave enough about the fishing excursion.

I assume you have to toss back/release the fish…or do my kids get to bring a basketful of fish back to our DVC villa?!? 😳
