Some DCL news...

Just got back from a 4-Day on the Wonder and had a great time!

On the second night, they announced that there would be pyrotechnic testing on the 10th deck, Foward. We got to see a few fireworks shells but didn't get any pictures. They were awesome! Huge, Magic Kingdom-sized fireworks. They shot them off the front of the ship and they burst to the left side. It was VERY dark on the deck of the ship when they shot them off.

The next night, during the Pirates In the Caribbean deck party, they announced that they were testing for a possible show, and we were the first people to ever see these fireworks. They shot off a BUNCH of fireworks and it was very impressive. Here's hoping a fireworks show works out for DCL!!

Also, we noticed some construction going on at Castaway Cay, in the area of the dock, behind where the tram loads. Its probably nothing interesting, but we thought it would be SO cool if they built a small waterpark on the island.

That would be really cool - a little water park, esp for younger ones who really can't swim yet.

Glad you got to see the fireworks and happy to hear that they finally got it figured out. It would be amazing to see!

Nice to see your CC pictures as well - so that's what is looks like close up! We were within feet of it but never touched land. Go figure that the next 4 day wonder after our trip gets fireworks and CC too! (I'm not bitter~~ )
