Some basic Water Park Questions

Guidebooks are very good at suggesting strategies about when to go and possible touring plans for the theme parks but tend to offer little advice when it comes to the water parks. Has anyone been to either TL or BB during the summer holidays and can advise me

(a) which day to go - does it matter?
(b) is it best to go early or late?
(c) does anyone have a strategy for tackling the order of the slides to minimize wait in lines etc
(d) do we really need to bother with a locker or towel hire?

Any tips like this would be very welcome.

Hi,

We've been in August several times. Here are my opinions:

a) I think that in the summer the water parks are more crowded on the weekends because of the locals.

b) We always go early. Two things about going late in the summer: forst, the water parks will often close for an almost aily thunderstorm, and second, if you wait till after the storm, the parks will often be empty.

c) Just like at the MK, do all the big slides early!

d) We always take towels the day before from the hotel and bring tham with us to BB or TL, then we take them back and put them in the used towel bin at the resort pool. We've never used a locker. We just bring a beach bag and our room cards/park tickets. If we want something to eat or drink we just charge it to the room.

Hi,

Been in August once.

a) Do not think it matters which day but would avoid weekends if possible.
b) Our strategy for ALL theme parks is get there early, same applies to Water Parks too.
c) do them as early as possible.
d) yes, you will need a locker for valuables etc - we take our own towels too
