Some ADRs held for 90 day window?

I tried to book Le Cellier for our trip but at 90 + 2 days (short trip before our DCL cruise) nothing at all was available for lunch or dinner. I tried anytime for the whole time we are there and nothing is available so far.

Any chance that they keep some reservations back from the 90+10 system to make available exactly at 90 days? If so, I'll try again tomorrow for my Dec 4 dinner. If not, I don't want to bother being online at 5 am central time to try to get a nonexistent reservation!

I tried this morning at 6 AM for Le Cellier on 12/3 (90 days) and there was nothing for a party of 6 for the entire night. Nothing for O'Hana on the 5th either. I even called at 7 so CM could double check and she confirmed that both restaurants were booked (for our size party at least) for those whole nights already. So I would assume that they are not holding any ADRs for 90 days. I will keep checking each day, though - people do cancel and move their ADRs around. Good Luck!
Today I hate the 90 + 10 system!:headache:

I think that they do. I had reports leading up to our ADR date over and over that BOma was booked for the first night of our trip. For about 3 days leading up no one could get a ressie. At 6 am on my ADR date I had a choice of a couple different times.

Now THAT is what I was hoping to hear! Thanks!

I cannot say definitively if they do or not, but here is my story from making ADR's and you can take from it what you will . . .

I called on the nose of our 90+10 day at exactly 7:00 am. This was before people who booked through AAA could unlock the +10 feature online, so I had to call. I tried to get CRT for breakfast or lunch on our second day there, and was told it was completely booked. I did grab a breakfast later in the week, but nothing on our second day.

So I got up the next morning at 6:00 am and got online to check if anything had been held back. I entered a request for 7 people at CRT at 10:00 am and was offered both 9:45 and 10:15.

So, 91 days out there was nothing available at CRT. However, at 90 days out there were two openings within 15 minutes of the exact time I wanted. Now, it is possible that someone let those two time slots go that day, but my money is on the fact that they hold back some slots.

I had the same experience 2 days ago when trying to book Le Cellier for Dec 1. Nothing online at 6am and nothing available at 7am when I called. I have been told in the past by a CM that they do hold some until the 90th day, but that was definitely not my experience this time. Still trying to get a dinner reservation at Le Cellier on 12/1...I will keep trying.

I would try...especially since it's Le Cellier! Even after the 90 days I would try. I pretty much check some of my ressies every day because I want to bump them up or back. I've been able to change a couple so far. You never know when someone is going to cancel or change their ressie and magically it will open up. I'd also be checking like crazy around the 45 day mark (a week before too!) in case someone doesn't pay off their trip in time.

Just suggestions!

Thanks! I have a Flying Fish ADR so even if Le Cellier doesn't open up, we'll eat well that night. I'm hoping to get it tomorrow but if I don't, I'll keep checking. Especially at the 45 day mark.

I was up early and the window for ADRs for Dec 4 seems to have opened at least 20 minutes BEFORE 6 am as it was open when I went to set up my search request for Le Cellier. Nothing available the entire night for any party size that I can see, so I don't believe any reservations were held back.

I hate the 90 day booking limit and really look forward to it going back to 180 days.

Very interesting, as when I tried it at exactly 6:00 am and again every few minutes after I get the error message that the system is currently unavailable.

Me too. I only need to make ONE ADR, since it's a 2 night stay.

Clear your cookies and try again! It is working VERY slow but it is working.

I just changed strategies and booked Le Cellier for our last day at lunch instead. We're planning to be at HS for the morning, eating at Mama Melrose and then leaving for the airport. Now we'll still go to HS but we're making a detour to Epcot to eat at Le Cellier instead.

I'm going back to cancel Mama Melrose next... that's another flaw in the system I think. It let me book two meals at the same approximate time on the same day. People can make multiple reservations and "hog" them if they can't decide where they want to be when in advance!

Did that, it didn't help....tks.

Error!
Sorry, the booking system is currently unavailable. Please try again later or call (407) 939-7861. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to dial this number.

Well, my DH is my technical guy and he is sound asleep so I'm not able to clear my cookies.

Look up to see something called "tools" in the area at the top of your screen. click on that and find "internet options" at the bottom. Click on that and look for the "browing history" option. Click on the "delete" button.

I'm using Windows xp but it should be similar on another system I think. Log out of the Disney site first before you do the cookie clearing.

That's just weird. I'm still in it- just finished deleting my Mama Melrose reseration. What are you trying to get?

Thanks, I see how to do that. Not sure if I want to delete all the other stuff that would be deleted. I'll see how desperate I become in the next 15 minutes.

I really don't notice much when I delete cookies- do it periodically just to clean out junk from the computer anyway. Can't guarantee it will work but when I was trying the online ADR last night, I had to do that a few times to be able to get in to the system at all. I did it first this morning before I even tried.

I just cleared my cookies and got right into the ADR system. But I was trying to get a Le Cellier lunch on 12/4 and it was hopeless. I still have it for 12/7 lunch but we have another dinner ADR that night and I was hoping to separate the two great choices. I think 12/4 will be a 2 CS day for us. I will occasionally check to see if 12/4 lunch ever shows availability.
