I was thinking yesterday about our upcoming trip at the end of the month(Kidani 2 bed). Let me preface this by saying we have stayed here before and neither my family nor I are ever opposed to a walk but I have read numerous posts regarding the stroll from Kidani to Jambo for a counter service meal. Although I certainly wouldn't be opposed to a counter service at Kidani the walk back with a full dinner for four people (with the goal of eating hot food) is a challenge to say the least. A "semi-solution" could be the provision of a small fleet of surrey bikes for the purpose of food transportation. Perhaps a small fee (2 or 3 dollars would be well worth it for me as I am also known as Daddy the pack mule or "honey, can you grab us some food while I take the kids up to the room). Better yet, have the service be complimentary for those on the dp.

I realize that the walkway is narrow but there is plenty of room for a bike lane adjacent to the curb. It's just a thought... It's funny the things you think of when your dog has you up at 2:30am.

sorry this was a long one, :goodvibes

Moving this to the transportation board for their thoughts

Have you thought about hopping on the bus to get back and forth? :confused3

Any park bus stops at Kidani first, you can hop on it over to Jambo. To get back, get on a Downtown Disney bus.

Exactly. :thumbsup2

If you're in the building closer to Jambo house then the walk from Kidani isn't bad at all. You can also just go and eat AT Mara. We did that a couple of times the last time we were at Kidani.
