Uh, what's wrong with just telling them that no smoking is permitted? How about reporting it to a person of authority? Seems to me a bit extreme, and if there are any physical effects of the extinguisher, it could be a law-suit waiting to happen. In a public restroom, like getting it in the eyes, I doubt the owner of the establishment would appreciate it being used for this purpose (unless the guy using it is the owner). Who's responsible for cleaning up the mess?

I'm sure this is every non-smokers dream, but in reality, I don't think it's a good idea.

It doesn't work for me either. I am restraining myself from answering this thread but suffice it to say I don't think it would be funny for someone to spray someone with a fire extinguisher. If it were me the person doing the spraying had better be a track star cause I would catch them and it wouldn't be pretty when I did.

Yea, because it is SO hard to simply mention to someone that smoking isn't allowed in that area and it is SO worth getting charged at minimum with battery and most likely sued for the medical bills...

Not to mention that it is a misuse of a fire extingusher, which in some places can get you a ticket and/or arrested! (not to mention punched in the face by the person you sprayed with that chemical, some of which is toxic!)(depending on the rating of the extinguisher)

Satire is great, and most adults can recognize it for what it is! The problem is that some of the teens try and re-create the same videos (the ******* stunts etc.) after seening them on u-tube. Thats when the "fun" ends.

Oh my goodness. I wasn't expecting this response. First, it's really unfair for those who didn't even bother watching the clip to give their two cents. Second, it's a joke! I'm not suggesting anyone go and do this. It is indeed set-up. It's called "acting". Just a fantasy. Funny, if I posted a link of a shoot out I don't think I would have gotten this response.

I always wanted to show up with a HUGE can of Aqua Net hairspray. When the smokers start smoking where they shouldn't be, I want to start spraying my hair.

The down side is all that icky aqua net in my hair.
