Solo's Labor Day Weekend?

My trip has now turned into another solo trip for me

I will be there at that time too, weather permitting. This will be my first solo trip and a big birthday trip all in one. I am way to excited and scared for my own good.

Hey TinkTink! I am thinking about booking a Labor Day solo trip too! Just got a coupon from expedia for $200 off a package. So.... if I do a value, air and hotel will only cost me about $250 Thinking about maybe doing MNSSHP on Friday night too!

Now, I just need to justify going to Disney instead of visiting my family in Indiana

Just booked ASSp for Sept. 4-7. Flight gets in at 6:15pm on friday, so thinking that I'll head over to MK if tix are still available for MNSSHP once I arrive. Don't want to buy ahead of time in case the flight gets delayed or something -- I'd rather spend the extra few $$ for buying the day of than be out big bucks if my flight doesn't get in on time. Plus I have a ticket from one of last year's rainy MVMCP's (that is good for one-day MK visit) that I am hoping they will let me exchange for MNSSHP instead -- customer service said she "thought" they would, but said it can only be done at guest services. Here's hoping for a little pixie dust

Not really going solo as my 11 yr daughter will be with me, but it might be fun to have another adult to hangout with.

We're staying at POP from Sept. 3rd-8th.

Hi! I am brand new to this wonderful site...friends aren't as into the magic as I am or have kids, commitments, no time, which is understandable. But me, I'm making the time and plan (hopefully) to go to Disney this Labor Day - could use some time off and happy faces, Disney Magic and ready to book but hate going solo (the lesser evil than sitting home NOT at Disney this Labor Day weekend). Again, so new to this so bear with me...do solo's really meet up for dinner here and there and maybe a walk around the World Showcase, whatever, etc.? Because that's just what I'm looking for. I'm a female, 40, super nice - lots of great friends but none that want to/can go to Disney World on Labor Day (curses!) and here I'm hell bent - so please tell me there are some nice folks out there that are going and meeting up and how it works. I'm such a fan!

We are working on meeting up over the weekend. Some of us are going to MNSSHP - Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on the 9/4 and are trying to do a meet then!

I dont really know the protocol... I guess if you wanna meet you pick a time and place and go for it!!! lol
