Ok Solo Travelers, how do you get sunblock coverage on your back?

I'm traveling by myself to WDW at the end of June and am very fair skinned. I absolutely have to be sunblocked from head to toe, but I"m not sure how I"m going to make sure that my back is protected, particularly at the water parks. When I was on a Disney Cruise a few months back, I went to Castaway Key while my spouse stayed onboard and I asked a total stranger if she would mind putting sunblock on my back. It was a little weird, but reasonably ok. I don't think I'd be comfortable doing at at the park though!

So..please share your sunblock tips. :)

Spray on sunblock.:cool2:You should be able to hose yourself down pretty good with it.:)

I agree with maxiesmom...they now sell spray on sunblock. I was just at disney a couple of weeks back and I brought spray on sunblock as I have fair skin like you do and I went solo as well. I bought Equate sunblock SPF 50 (they sell it at walmart for fairly inexpensively) but Coppertone also sells it as well as other well known brands of sunblock. Hope this helps!

I'm weird, but I've never had a problem applying lotion or sunblock on my back! *LOL*

If you aren't particularly flexible, you might want to work on it so you can reach part of your back by reaching over your shoulders and the rest by reaching up from your waist. Essentially, if you can reach one hand behind your head downward and the other upward from your waist and touch or grasp your fingers, you will be able to cover your back yourself. It's also a good exercise to work on flexibility. :)

Otherwise, you will need to ask someone for assistance.

Spray on sunblock sounds like just the thing! I hadn't even thought about that. I am pretty flexible, but I want to make sure that I don't miss a spot and end up with one spot of bright red painful sunburn.
Thanks!:thumbsup2

wear a t-shirt in the parks.

at the pool - either in the water or out of there. generally go swimming at night.

read in my room or out on the balcony - never near the pool.

avoid being out between 10 (11 in winter) and 6 (5 in winter) sometimes it is 7pm before can go back out.
allergic to the sun.

Solutions catalog has a lotion applicator that works pretty well. If you search lotion on the Solutions website, you'll find it.
