Solo Meetup, Disneyland in August

I’m going to be in Disneyland on my own -first time going solo! From August 17-23.
Wondering if there are any other solo travellers who may want to meet up for dinner ect? I’m lesbian (if that matters) lots of fun, and LOVE Disney!! I’m looking forward to doing stuff on my own but also wouldn’t mind having some social time!

Hopefully there are some others that can meet up during your visit! I've wondered before if there are groups or some kind of resource that helps solo visitors meet up with other people to spend time in the parks. Back when my daughter was in dance competitions we did some trips to Anaheim for her and I had a few different times where I went to DL by myself for part of the day. While it was fun doing exactly what I wanted, I still thought it would have been awesome if I could have met up with some other solo visitors for at least some of the day if there was a way to find them.

There are FB groups that have meet ups. The MK group has solo visitors connecting. There is also a VIP tour group where solo visitors will tag onto someone else's tour.

Shellovesbuzz: Thank you! I am going with my best friend. I have not done a solo Disney trip before. From what I've read, though, the people who have thoroughly enjoy going on a solo trip. It would be interesting to read a trip report with your thoughts after your trip.
