Just wondered whether there is anyone traveling solo to WDW from the UK during the summer holidays this year?

:flower:

I'd be far too lonely going solo. :sad2:

Well solo in as much as I am a single parent going with my daughter, does that count?? LOL

I've been offered the possibility of a solo trip - I'd be going from the 7th of July for a week. I've said I'll decide by tonight if I'm going to go or not - it's like I have a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other, the devil says to hell with it and go, the angel says to save the money I'd spend for our future trip. Problem is I don't know which one to agree with at the moment :) So I might be going to WDW solo yes!

I'm not, but I'd really like to. I think it would be so fun going round the parks by yourself, doing what you want and when you want. It would be a really great opportunity to explore what Disney had to offer.

I'm very jealous, have a great trip! :)

I am :sunny: . I'm heading over in July and I'm really looking forward to it. It was supposed to be an annual family trip but my mum has started treatment for breast cancer so the original holiday was cancelled in early March.

I know that sounds depressing but really, I am going to have a good time! My mum told me today she isn't upset about staying at home as it's so important that she does right now. We're already talking about next summer :) .

Anyway, my solo plans include dining in restaurants I've never visited - PS (ARs) all made, Cirque de Soleil - seen it before but love it, Fantasmic Dinner Package, Keys to the Kingdom Tour. I'll also be using Magical Express as I thought it would be ideal for me as a solo.

Ooh looks like you're going at the same time as me - I leave on 7th July and come back on the 15th, can't wait :cool1: I'm all booked now!

It sure does! I arrive on the 7th as well but I'm staying for 11 nights so fly home on the 18th. Where are you flying from? I'm flying with BA Glasgow-Gatwick-Orlando.
