Solo dining - using TS cred for take-out?

So is it really unheard of to order take-out using a TS cred at one of those immensely popular restaurants?

Do you have to have an ADR? For example, Le Cellier: suppose I have an ADR for 4, but my husband and the kids bail for hotdogs somewhere. Will the restaurant pack up a fancy steak & dessert meal (yum ... creme brulee) for me to pick-up? Can I just call it in? This has got to be a common need for single travelers or anyone who has cravings, I imagine.

I don't think they do take out meals at Le Cellier, I could be wrong as I eat in the restaurants solo so it doesn't bother me.

Nope, they really do not do take out.I tried to get some pretzel bread and cheddar cheese soup and they said No.

the other day too. Guess the answer is no.
I did order take out a few years back from Kona and it wasn't a problem.
I just can't imagine why a restaurant would not take your money.
Here's hoping for take-out!

Most of Disney's restaurant kitchens are not equipped/staffed to handle the number of Guests seated PLUS take-out orders.

You can't call in an order to pick up; you can't go to a restaurant and order a meal at the podium to be packed up.

You CAN go, be seated, order, perhaps take a bite/perhaps not (depending on the restaurant) and ask for the rest of your meal to be wrapped up to go; ditto for the dessert.

Or, you can do what solo diners all over the world do - go to the restaurant, be seated, order, relax, dine, enjoy, have dessert or not as you choose...
