Solo dining ADR's what should I book??

Thanks everyone for your great ideas!! I'll have to make a decision soon since I just realized that if I do go on the 4th of January I just missed my 90 day mark...it will have to be whatever I can get...thanks for all the advice!! :lovestruc

Don't worry - make a few reservations NOW. January is still pretty open in many locations, with no free dining going on (yet). Even if you decide on the later dates, you can always cancel these.

Remember to request seatings for two - the online system doesn't recognize seatings for one in many of the restaurants.

But as for your early January dates - ah, que lastima! I'm going at the end of the month. I would have enjoyed sharing an entire meal with Belle. The ultimate character breakfast!

My favorites as a first time solo diner last year were:

Flying Fish, sat at the kitchen bar. best meal I've had WDW.

If you are a timid solo traveler (like I was at first), a great place to start would be Sci Fi.

the plaza at MK was great as well.

I had no problem getting CA Grill, Brown Derby and Biergarten as a solo online. Which ones are trouble?

The Wave at the Contemporary was surprisingly nice.

I live in Orlando but I too will occasionally go to WDW for a day solo. Boma is awesome for dinner! None of my friends like Boma :confused3 so I go there quite often as solo.

I did Boma for Dinner - really enjoyed the food, met a fabulous family of 3 that I chatted with for the longest time while we waited to be called, had a great server.

Le Cellier for lunch - felt odd, the server was almost too attentive, food was good though

Teppen Edo for dinner - great food, fun show, sat next to a really nice family who was happy to find someone who could explain the fast pass system to them. They had one but didn't know when they could get their next one or even how the system really worked. We chatted about all kinds of stuff during supper.

I'm thinking of trying Chef De France next time.
