Solo diner at character meals....?

I'm going to the Princess 1/2 marathon in March by myself....I plan on spending my whole week there on my first ever solo trip (yes, I know there is a solo board). I was wondering though, do you think CM's would be willing (or able as I know they are busy) to take a pic of me with characters at a character meal?

Suggestions?

I view this as a chance to do some meals that my travelling companions never want to do...

I'm sure they would. I've been to several character meals solo and the CMs are always willing to take pictures. Another thing I've done several times is to just pick up my camera and whisper to the character "I'd love to get my picture taken with you. Do you think someone would take our picture?" The character always seems to enjoy taking the camera and motioning to someone to take our picture. Occassionally the character gets a CM, but more often they get another guest at an adjacent table. It's so funny! No one dares refuse Goofy's(or whoever's) request.

That is a fantastic idea...I'm usually very shy (which makes me question the sanity of a solo trip but *shrug* oh well)....so getting the character to deal with 'asking' for someone to take the photo is a great idea!

I eat at character meals solo all the time. Someone is always willing to take my picture for me.

I have eaten at all but 4 of the character meals (most by myself). I usually have been able to find someone to take pictures for me (the character attendant, a server, another guest). It's a lot of fun. I love doing character dining. Have fun!
