Hi guys.
I am a 26 year old male who is recently single. I was planning a trip in September 2016 (so have a long old time to plan) but I am staying for 2 weeks and would like to go to the water parks at wdw because they would be included in the ticket cost.

I was wondering if it is just a big NO NO to go into the water parks as a single male adult? I can understand some people being a bit put off by seeing a guy walking around alone. Even though all I want to do is enjoy the lazy river and wave pools etc.

Is it just a case of ignoring any weird looks I get?

Also wondered if single adults in DisneyQuest get this look.

Seems sad to have to ask this as I just want to go back experience all the fun of disney, but alone!

I doubt I would even notice. If I did notice I would assume that you just went somewhere on your own from your group (heading back from the bathroom or wanted to do a ride no one else did).

I have been a single female in the waterparks. Well my husband was in the park but he parked his butt in a chair and then I went to do stuff alone. I have also ridden rides with complete strangers (some water coasters don't let you go alone).

At Disneyquest we have never gotten that look. My husband and I separate there alot too, we don't always want to play the same games. Then we meet up for a while and do some games together and separate again.

Go and have a blast. I do it solo. I would not question a single male. I am female but stay in the lazy river all day and take a nap :) You can't tell who is with who unless they are standing next to each other. Now if you said LEGOLAND that would be another story.

Agreed go and have fun! I have traveled alone a lot, people are rapped up in their vacations and won't even notice.

Another adult (albeit female) who's done the water parks alone tons of times. Like others have said, it's the same as wandering any Disney park alone: most people won't notice, and those who do will assume you're temporarily separated from your party for one reason or another. I'd do all the water park attractions by myself and never had an issue except for having to spend about ten minutes trying to flag down another singleton when I wanted to go on the one water coaster that had a two-rider rule. I get that lone men are more likely to attract negative attention in 'family' spaces than lone women, but I think as long as you act confident in your right to be there, someone would really have to go out of their way in order to choose be weirded out by your presence.

I went to Typhoon Lagoon and DisneyQuest as a solo male adult in January. I wanted to float around the lazy river and play some games. Nobody batted an eye, guest or cast member. Have fun and enjoy your vacation.

I might give that a try next time. I really wanted to do the lazy river on my last visit but didn't work up the nerve to visit a water park alone. Glad to hear it was not an issue!

I've always wanted to do this but I have always been preoccupied with the parks, resorts, etc. and then next thing you know my vacation is over. In any event I would definitely say do it and not worry what others might think.

Like others have said, there's no way anyone would even notice! How would they unless theyre stalking you? Go and do what you want and dont worry about others.

I've done WDW solo but not the waterpark, but I have done other waterparks solo and had no issues in the wavepool, lazy river, one person slides. I've seen males solo in water parks and thought nothing of it. I only find it gets difficult if I want to do 2/3 person rides, I've met some nice people that way but sometimes it takes me forever to find someone who'll ride with me!
