Hello everyone!

I'm looking for some help planning my upcoming Disneyland Trip. I’m heading down on June 13th through June 17th. I’m flying into SNA from Calgary and arrive around noon. I fly out again around noon on the 17th. My birthday is the 16th and I want to do a couple different and special things on this trip. I’ve been down once before for three and a half days with my sister and we did a couple of character meals and ate lunch at Blue Bayou. We’d talked about doing the tours but cut them out of the trip.

I know that I want to do a princess lunch or breakfast at Ariel’s Grotto, probably on my birthday. My sister and I did it last time and had a blast but on my last WDW trip my camera… broke is a good word for it… and I lost all my pictures from my solo princess lunch and I need to remedy this memory!

I also really want to do the Walk in Walt’s Footsteps tour but haven’t decided on a day for it yet. I HAVE to see World of Colour (maybe twice) and am considering doing one of the “Signature” restaurants in the hotels for a splurge one night but don’t know which one.

I will most definitely be finishing my trip with a character breakfast (we did Goofy’s Kitchen last time and I probably will do that one again)

Has anyone done the Minnie’s breakfast in the Disneyland park… I wouldn’t do that on my last morning but maybe on a different morning…

Any other suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

Thanks in advance!!!

Minnie's Breakfast inside DL is great for character interaction :thumbsup2 For me, the food is not as good as some of the other character breakfasts, but it still has your stapes like waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, omlettes, etc. I really like getting the made to order omlette, they pretty darn tasty!! popcorn::

Overall I really would recommend it. There seems like there is an endless supply of characters and it's location INSIDE the park is fantastic as well :goodvibes

Hi!

I'm HOPEFULLY going to be at DL at the same time celebrating my birthday!

I plan on doing most of the character meals. I'm actually thinking I'm going to do Goofy's dinner my first day there and Surf's Up my last day.

I've been to Goofy's breakfast my last trip and while good I actually enjoyed Minnie's from my first trip much better. To me Minnie's is now a must!!

I've got a review of Minnie's in my trip report. Another good review of most of the Character meals can be found in THECOLTONSMOM trip report. HERE

Thanks for the great tips so far guys... Keep them coming I'm really enjoying the feedback!

So once I've appeased my need for all things childish and fun with character meals I was wondering where you DL vets would suggest I do a nice dinner at either one of the on-site hotels or in Downtown Disney.

I love all types of food and Steakhouse 55 really appeals to me but it seems to be a meal I'd need someone to share with as the sides are large and meant for sharing... Other suggestions?

Thanks again guys!
