Sold out of BWV December use year points...

Didn't really "need " more points, but decided to call my guide anyway because additional points at BWV are sooooo tempting!

Well, I waited too long and they're all sold out of December use year!

Options:

Buy a separate BWV contract of 150 points with a different use year - nah.

BCV still on sale with Dec available - 100 points min for magical beginnings.

VB - magical beginnings start for 50 points at $69/pp - and just added this morning, a credit of $10/pp AND YOU GET TO KEEP 2002 points...

Something to think about... but since I wasn't really planning on adding on, I guess we're going to pass on the other offers. But I'm still disappointed that BWV Dec points are sold out ...

Are you saying I get the points for $59 each??? How are they handling the banking, etc of 2002 points?

Nope it's either/or.

Either $10 credit/pp for $74/pp and keep 2002 points

OR

Magical Beginnings of $15/pp for $69/pp but sell back 2002 points.

I think it was for a 50 point minimum add-on, but since I didn't write it down, I'm not 100% sure of the minimum add-on to qualify.

Also, we were talking about December points (whhich I think they were selling anyway) so banking wasn't a problem.

I know, my guide called me on Tuesday and told me they only had like 1200 dec use year left. I had added on 40 on Monday and when she called I added 25 more so now I have 150 total

Looks like these points won't make it to the public.

Wow, I'm SO glad we didn't wait till this week to buy! We bought 100 points on Friday!

We were going to buy a large number of BWV points, but instead opted for 30 more at BWV and 200 at BCV because of SAB....but now I'm wishing we had bought more. Just greedy.

I called also for points, sold out, but the idea came to me that if i sold my current points of 150, I could then buy 150 and an add on of 150 in the sme use year of what they had left.

the guide then said that I could do that but to make sure I can get the 300 pts in a new use year first.

If you want to add on & your use year is sold out, ask your guide to put you on the waitlist!! I imagine several of those contracts won't go through for various reasons & some points will become available again.... do it soon though or you will likely lose out

Although, I wasn't really looking to add on points, I'm suddenly in the mood to get on the wait list - just in case!

Leaving tomorrow morning on a car trip down to Raleigh, NC, continuing to Ft.Lauderdale and ending at the VWLs!!! Can't wait!

I just thought I'd mention it incase it helps or just gives people hope

I went on the waitlist for a December User Year last Saturday and I got a call today that it had come thru already

If December is what you want, don't give up yet!

Oh no... I hope that quick phone call you received doesn't mean that SleepyatDVC missed her waitlist call (she said she'd be away two weeks), that would be a total bummer for her!!!

It's possible that it depends on the size of the contract - sleepyatdvc didn't say what size they'd decided on had they?

Mine was for 100 points.
