Sold Out Excursion really Sold Out?

We never book excursions through the cruise line but I was considering booking the Baths in Tortola through Disney. I just checked and it is now sold out. Just wondering if it is really sold out or if they hold back some spots for people who don't/can't book online.

No, excursions are fully bookable online. They may add an additional excursion, so keep an eye out. Or someone might cancel before the cruise. If not, go to Port Adventures once onboard and see if they're running a wait list for that excursion. Yes, sometime people cancel once onboard

I think that one might not be available depending on the itinerary? Aren't some of the days in Tortola only half days? If I remember correctly, the Baths is a long excursion and might not be offered on shorter port days.

It might be worth checking when you get on board to see if they are keeping a waiting list. I know I've heard of times when if a waiting list got enough people on it, cruise lines are able to work with tour vendors to add in another group.

We did the Baths excursion last week - not sure if it is the full or half day that is full for you but I would recommend half day. We did the full day and the only difference was that you got lunch (which was mediocre at best)..we were wishing we had done the half day.

I second a half day at the Baths and quite honestly we felt the Disney experience was just not there! We cruised in May so perhaps they have gotten their act together.

I hated my bath full day excursion. The lunch was blah and the day we went the baths were so crowded I was miserable. We went threw the caverns as a single file line.

Sorry I didn't answer the questions. My dad wanted to book the baths with us and as a new cruiser it never dam available. He was one of the first boarding groups and went right to the excursion area. Nothing was available and he was wait listed but never got it

Always check with the excursion desk on board ship because they will have the most accurate info on availability.

Thanks everyone. We'll be back in Tortola next year so will do the Baths then (probably on our own). We're going to spend the day at a beach this time.
