Solar flares on Friday?

I just heard on the news that tomorrow will bring the worst solar flares since sometime in the 1800's when telegraphs shorted out. They reported that cell phones could be a problem as well as electrical interruptions at home.

Has anybody else heard about this? What kinds of problems might be a possibility?

Heard about it on the news tonight. They said they would be some more over the next several weeks.
