We're traveling to Disney in Feb. with our 15 y/o grandson. He's an Air Force brat, Mom is a Captain. Can we take him to SOG to purchase military park pass? Know we have to have 'clearance' to get into SOG. Traveled last year with Navy chaplin staying at SOF. Also, if we can do, is there a significant discount using military discount for 6 day park hopper?

As long as he has his military ID with him it should be no problems getting into Shades or getting the discounted tickets.

Check Shades of Green website and check under ticket prices to see if the seem like deals to you. BTW unless you are staying at a Disney resort or Shades you cannot get the Stars and Stripes tickets which is the same as the Park Hopper, Water PArks and More tickets. But you can buy "normal" tickets and park hoppers there also, and also other attraction tickets.

Here is the SoG website. I would call to make sure but I think with a military dependent card he could buy the tickets. The website will give you the prices. If you are staying at a Disney Resort you may want to consider the Stars and Stripes pass. This pass allows you unlimited access to water parks, Disney Quest, as well as park hopping. A 10 day pass is good for 11 days from first use, allowing you a down day. If you are getting a MYW pass with all the options except no-expiration this may suit you better. Again you can find phone numbers and cost of passes on the web site.
