will chime in with more recent opinions. We LOVED the Contemporary. The kids actually want to go back there rather than the Poly next year. You don't mention kids but the CR arcade is H~U~G~E and was a favorite pasttime for my kids. We were in room 7142 and it was not far from the main tower which is where the Food n Fun Center is for refillable mugs, quick bfkt, etc. (The closest rooms are on the side hall - #'s 7101-7115 and 7178-7188) If you walked out the side entrance of the NG and into the side entrance of the tower bldg you were inside the Food n Fun center. Perhaps a 3 min walk from our room. We requested a first floor room close to the tower because we knew the kids would like the arcade and because of the porch. There was really no view to speak of except some animals (bunnies and armadillos) but I understand the 2nd and 3rd floor did not have balconies.
We had a wonderful stay and for the price it was really a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Incidentally, we got the Stars and Stripes length of stay passes and we were able to drop off the first and last days of our stay.
