SOG/Military AP Prices??

Hi,

Does anyone know the current SOG/military prices for APs (both adult and child)? I can't seem to find the info online, though it used to be on the Mousesavers site.

My DH and I got ressies at the Contemporary for May 2003 because the SOG is being refurbished @ a rate of $110 I think. I 'll double check that info for you tonight. Good luck!

The SoG rate for APs is: $362 - adt, $308 - chd. I got that from their toll free number.

Thanks very much Travelitis. I didn't even know SOG had a toll free number...I just found it on their website. Anyway, thanks for posting the info. I'm doing the math to see if it would be worth it to get at least 1 AP.

Does anyone know if the SOG rate on AP is the same, or better/worse than the discount available to DC members? We will be elligible for both & wasn't sure which was the better route in December. Thanks!

I just checked the Mousesavers website and found the DC annual pass price (adult) at $369 plus tax making it $391.14. Travelitis posted that the SOG rate was $362 for the adult pass, and I don't think there would be tax on top of that...seems that SOG would be the better deal.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Well,this is what mousesavers says about it. So i am assuming the military price is cheaper than the DC discount. It says on there you get a $15 discount on adult Annual Passes and a $20 discount on adult Premium Annual Passes with the DC discount.

Will I be buying Walt Disney World Annual Passes? Disney Club offers the only available discount for the general public (Florida residents and military personnel can get even better discounts).

my grandfather is retired military---could he purchase these for me? I'd rather have these for Christmas than some of the other things I might get----want to go to DW next spring !

Your grandfather can buy them if he's retired... the only problem is that the Military AP vouchers are only available at SOG, so he'd have to go to the Contemporary to pick 'em up. How do you feel about spending Christmas at WDW with your grandfather ???

Also to use them you have to be able to show military I.D. To be sure you got in, you'd have to have your grandfather with you. The discount is for military and their dependants only, meaning my active duty dh can get them for us and our kids, but his parents and sister would have to stick with us to utilize the SoG discount. If they went without us and got carded, they'd be denied entry.

I could probably get my grandfather there to buy them for me (and mom, dad, sister) as he spends part of the year in florida---but getting him to the parks when we wanted to go would be another story---last time he stayed at SOG (we stayed at another resort) we saw him for some meals but couldn't get him to the parks---just a ride on the monorail and a short visit to a couple of the resorts...
