SOG late checkout?

We are flying out at 3pm on
Presidents Day. We are not doing any parks that day. We have 2 boys and am sure they will be worn out by then after 4 days in the parks. Was hoping they could enjoy the pool a little at Shade if Green that day but I see SOG just shortened their pool hours on their website. It doesn’t even open until 11am; which is now the same as check out time. I have tried calling SOG but just get an answering service. Does anyone know if late checkout is available? Or other question/option is we we could use the pool after checkout while waiting for our flight?

Yes you can use the pool until you depart for your flight. Now, will you want to use the pool in February is another question. My family stayed in March and the pools were to cold for us then. DD put her foot in and was like... nope. Our last stay in May we used the pools. But we are Floridians.

If your flight leaves at 3PM, I wouldn’t be planning to use the pool at all as I would want to arrive at the airport by 1PM. I would use the time after checkout to eat lunch somewhere instead.

We have TSA precheck and only do carry-ons. My husband works for TSA so we are good with getting to the airport 60-90min prior to flight.

Weather is currently looking to be fairly warm next week but I know that will likely change.

My 7 year old is hard core; he will get into any pool. I understand it is a heated pool but that doesn’t change the air temp!....I will be watching from a lounge chair and grab a bite from Evergreens
