SOG deposit question

At the time of our last SOG stay, they were just reserving rooms with a credit card number - not actually charging a deposit. It seems like I heard that soon after that they started actually taking a one night deposit at the time of reservation. Can anyone tell me for sure which way it is being done now? I am about to reserve 3 rooms and need to know if I need to get the money for the deposits from the other family members using the other 2 rooms!

Yes, they charge a one night deposit for each room at time of booking. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 30 days prior to arrival.
