Do passholders have to sign up for the June 9 date? We'll be down there June 9 and 10 and want to try to get in line for it.

You do not have to sign up. Here's a little more information from the website:

Access is for Passholders only and requires a valid annual pass for admission into Universal Studios. Exclusive Ride Times begin one (1) hour prior to Universal Studios Florida regular opening hour, valid only at Transformers-The Ride 3D and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit®. Universal Express ride access is not available during Passholder Exclusive Ride Times. Additional restrictions may apply.

TM previews are tonight and tomorrow morning. You'd expect softs soon after. OU is hinting at tomorrow afternoon.

We kept one eye on it all day yesterday because they had cordoned off the road next to the ride. No luck and that was our last day there.

Guess that's at least one ride we can look forward to next year.

The road was cordoned off because they are putting up the large Optimus Prime over the entrance. He is there now, and a crane, waiting to go up after the parks close.

I think this is the TM preview...I saw some Universal name tags and costumes...not for the general public.

I rode the new Transformers ride for team member preview tonight . In my opinion, it is better than Spiderman. I rode at 7:00 tonight. The TM preview is tonight until 10 PM and tomorrow from 7:30 AM-9:00 AM.

I think this is the TM preview...I saw some Universal name tags and costumes...not for the general public.

That would make more sense.

Sorry folks for the apparent misinformation, but I guess you can't believe everything you read on Twitter. Many of those folks are calling it a public soft opening, but who knows.

Yep. Something is better then nothing.

I think they did something similar when Simpsons reopened. I remember going with my wife early because she had just gotten off of work as a dispatcher.

The TM preview was supposed to start at 7:00 PM but they opened it up early for the TM. The first riders during TM preview were at 6:30 so that may be why they thought it was a soft opening. They routed the Team Members through the NY area rather then the regular queue that runs around the building. This was done so that the guests in the park weren't seeing so many people in line and wonder why they couldn't ride. The only guests that were seeing the line were the ones who were directly in front of the ride.

I ended up riding 8 times and myself and all my friends were blown away and just loved it. Awesome addition to the park and definitely a new favorite for me.

we might just have to sneak on up from that other park on one of those days (June 8th or 9th)...any guesses on 'when' during those days the AP preview will be available?

we will be at Universal on the 11th & 12th but i'd be kicking myself until October if i missed the chance to see Transformers in June.
