Soft Opening-River of Lights?

The estimated date for the new Rivers of Light show is March 2016. Do they usually have a soft opening for DVC/Passholders for those types of event too? We are going March 4-12 and would love to see it. I have a conference in DTD the 13-16 so I can also go then. I am hoping it happens on schedule

How long did they test World of Color before the published opening datell?

There was a soft opening for passholders and DVC for New fantasyland but it was super disorganized. people were getting in that hadn't preregistered and eventually CMs were letting everyone in. Hopefully there will be one and it'll be much more organized than previous ones.

How long did they test World of Color before the published opening datell?

WOC was testing and some could be seen from VGC rooms but they did not have any public viewings until the press event and then the official opening for everyone else as I recall. I was there for the first night which happened to coincide with my birthday. With new opening I think they tend to stay with the announced schedule much more vs refurbs where they start testing/reopening when they can. Or they have passholder/dvc type events that you can sign up for. We did that with Carsland but still, no soft openings for public as in if you were there you could jump in a line.
