soft good refurb noise level... ease my worries!

AKL- Jambo is doing a soft goods refurb for the DVC villas while we are there in January. They said the "construction" would be from 9-5pm. We are planning on returning the the resort mid-day for DD to nap so I'm a little worried about the noise level.

Has anyone been in a hotel during a soft good refurb? How noisy (or not) was it?

I am also curious about this as we are mid-day nap/resort rest family as well. We also got the letter but we are renting DVC points so I have a sinking feeling we are "stuck" with our reservation at AKL regardless of the newly announced construction. ANYONE have any experience with this that can comment?? Any experience with how loud a "soft goods" rehab is?? It appears that carpet is being replaced.

We have stayed at 3 WDW resorts during a soft goods refurb. All 3 times we didn't even know it was going on. The first 2 times we fiubd out when doing the survey while waiting for the Tragical Depress back to the airport and they specifically asked if we were inconvenienced by it. The 3rd time I happened to hear a couple CMs talking about it.

WDW does a great job of keeping guests away from the work areas. I would definitely not be concerned about a soft goods refurb during a stay.
