Sofabeds at WLV

Anyone recently stay at the WLV and use the sofabed. I am eagerly awaiting the upgrade to the new ones like they have at SSR and BCV. I stayed at SSR last year and the pullout was so comfortable. I would think that the WLV is due for the upgrade. Thanks for any information .

We were just there 2 weeks ago & the sofabed was old.

The sofa bed at SSR was awesome....

Glad to hear the BCV has them....going in Aug...

Hopefully the WLV will get them before I get there....

Actually, old and uncomfortable sleeper sofas are part of the authentic theming of VWL!!


Okay, I hope they change them over soon too. And add DVD players to the studios. And any other amenities that they are adding to the other resorts. Hey, us frontiersmen like our comforts too!

Just how uncomfortable are the sleeper sofas at VWL? I have a 6 night stay coming up, and suspect that I will likely be sleeping there!

We had a DVD player in our studio at VWL last October ... are they not in every studio??

I wasn't sure. Seems like the reports have been kind of hit or miss on that. Hopefully they are 100% converted by now.

There are actually three kinds of sleeper sofa.
1- the old one where you feel the bar underneath you while you sleep.
2-the one at SSR with memory foam mattress and removable cushions
3-the one at other resorts with the cushions that do not remove (they stay with the bed as you open it up and fold under the bed). This type has a storage space as you open up the bed where the blankets and pillows may be stored.

I think SSR still has the memory foam mattresses.

just back from WL , all our request were met pool/water view, upper floor (nice to skip the long hallway).

Did have a DVD player, DS grumbled that he wished they'd have replaced the sofabed (ala the bar hitting your back when you sleep). He shall be thrilled to hear it's in the works.
