Sofabed question

Please could somebody tell me how high they are when folded out? I'm wondering if one would be suitable for youngish children without needing bedrails.

I can't tell you exactly how high the pullout couch is, but if I had to guess, I would say at least 16" high. I have a 5yo who is a restless sleeper and I plan on getting him a bedrail for our upcoming trip. I would hate for him to fall out onto the hard, dirty floor in the middle of the night! Better safe than sorry.

I think it's about 18 inches...though I'm not sure about the new style they're using now. We've only had experience with the old "fold outs" from years ago.

In any event, I would, if your child is at all a "moving" sleeper, to get bed rails. Better to be safe than sorry.
