Soda?

Has DCL changed the Soda Mug program since last spring?

I'd love to not pay for that mug again. We have a whole cupboard of the darn things.

From what I have been reading...they did away with the sticker on the KTTW card and now soda is free at the drink station on deck 9. Soda as usual is free with meals as well. It is when you want soda sitting at the bar or whereever that you will have to pay. I say bring one of your old mugs with you so that you can refill it on the 9th deck rather than using the little cups provided.

So you still have to pay for soda if you get it from a bar, but not from the drink station?

Well, that's half way there.

We probably will pack the mugs.

The cups at the drink station are a good size, maybe 16 oz. They also provide lids and straws (and a sign politely requesting you use the lids to prevent spillage). We brought mugs from a last trip, and used them about half the time. It is much easier to carry a couple of mugs instead of cups. However, I once was getting seven drinks for folks waiting for Bingo to start. The person overseeing the Drink Station offered to get me a tray from Topsiders (they were closed at the time).

If you have room to take the mugs, I suggest doing so.
