Hi. Looking for some info on soda/mug prices at POP. How much is the refillable mug? Can it be used for milk? What about hot water? How much is a fountain soda at the food court? Will they give you hot water free if you have your own mug? Is there ice coffee available?

Are there soda machines near all the rooms? Is it Coke or Pepsi products? How much $? Can you swipe your KTTW or do you need to have singles/change? Cans or plastic bottles? Bottled water in the machine?

Lots of questions tonight - would appreciate any recent info you have.

Coke, no Pepsi.

The refillable mugs are around $14. I know you can fill them with soft drinks, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. I am not sure about milk.

when I was at POP (not long after they opened) they also had slushies on the refill bar....however, it was empty most of the times we went it.... it was summer and very hot so that could be why...but it has been about 6 yrs since i was there so not sure if the slushie machine is still there....just booked all star music for august and was thinking of switching to POP.. like there food court better....but so much walking there dont know what to do

The slushee machines were taken out at Pop a few years ago. They were always broken down anyway.

Walk to the food court. They only have coke machines in the hotel buildings and you need to pay for the bottles dispensed.

The soda machines in our resort were $3.50 per bottle if that helps.

Milk is not an option for the refillable mugs.

Thats a shame as I (and I'm sure lots of other parents) would rather their kids drank milk than soda!
Does anyone know how much milk costs in the food court and if they sell it in larger quantities at the general store at each resort? (I need it for my English cup of tea as well as for our DD)

I think it's around $3 for a half-gallon of milk. Smaller jugs (like Nestle Chugs) are around $1.49 if I remember correctly.

If you have your own mug, I don't think anyone would mind you having some hot water, as long as you supply your own tea bag.

If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, milk can be the beverage with the CS meal.

I usually use my refillable mug for my tea, but then buy a small milk. I don't like cream in my tea, and usually have 3 or so cups of tea so the milk goes and isn't wasted.
One thing that we do, is bring those unrefridgerated lo fat chocolate milks with us. We put them in ice in the ice bucket at night before bed, and then the boys drink them in the morning while we are getting dressed. Then I don't care so much if they are having soda with breakfast. It's a treat for them and it's only for a week or so on vacation LOL !
And although the soda machine prices were up there, they had Mello Yello in the machine in our building! Woo Hoo! I love Mello Yello! It was well worth the price for a couple of those babies!

The choices at the soda "fountain" in the food court are all
COKE products....so know before you go!! They use to have Caffeine Free Diet Coke but took it out last year...Coke, Coke Zero and Diet Coke Fanta Orange Sprite and Sprite Zero are the main choices

I beleive the refillable mugs are only good at the resorts. This was something we didn't realize and definitely has an impact on the cost effectiveness. I'm not sure how long you're staying, but paying to have groceries (milk, etc. delivered can be cost effective also if you have fridge in room and aren't renting a car).

I researched this before we decided to visit beach the day prior to our Disney arrival. We're going to buy some items prior to arriving now.

Oh, also no pepsie products (I NEED my Diet Mountain Dew)!! Also, I don't remember seeing any machines around the resort. You can purchase these items from food court, etc.

Hi! There are about 14.00 with tax. You can't use it for milk, only fountain drinks, hot chocolate , iced tea, hot tea and coffee.

You can put hot water in it, you can also ask them for a cup for hot water and they'll give you one.

There is not iced coffee available at the fountain station.

WOW!?!?!!? $3.50 for one small bottle?!!?! I guess it's a good thing no one in my family drinks pop.

There is a "MUG Wash" station at each island,,,with hot water and a DEEP sink

I always pack a sponge and a small bottle of dish soap for their nightly cleaning. The mug washing station in the Food Court doesn't do it for me.

I second the sponge and small bottle of dishwashing liquid. We do the same. I just use one of those little travel bottles for the dish soap and get a sponge from the dollar store. Toss it before we go home. Keeps our mugs fresh and sparkling!
