Hi

Can I have an idea of pricing
For soda for a 7 day cruise ?

And is there let’s say a regular package
And some kind of deluxe package ?

Not use to the soda packages only done dcl and soft drinks are included with them
Just want an idea of what to expect ?

Ice cream
Is there free ice cream somewhere on the ship ? Thanks

Soda packages are somewhere in the $8-10 range per day if I recall. You can look on the RCCL website to confirm. You’ll get a sticker on your room key and a reusable cup in your room. Cups have a sensor on the bottom so you can use the freestyle coke machines. If you forget the cup just present the card to any server to get your drink.

Deluxe packages really only make sense if you plan to drink a lot and or buy expensive drinks.

Soft serve ice cream machines are by the pool deck. Free of charge. Typically there is some sort of ice cream at the Windjammer buffet as well.

You can also get ice cream for dessert in the dining room at dinner. Self serve is soft serve, ice cream in Windjammer and the dining room is hard ice cream.

It does depend on what ship you are on, we were just on Radiance - one of the smaller ships and the ice cream self serve was only in Windjammer - it was soft serve there. Only way to get hard ice cream was to go to the main dining room.

The drink packages for our cruise were around $8 for the soda only package, $20 for the refreshment package which included soda, speciality coffee, fresh juices, bottled water and mocktails, and $47-52 for the deluxe - everything including alcohol package. We didn't buy any of the packages, especially since our ship there were no freestyle machines.

I don’t know if this will help but I’ve got a thread called “the drink package project” where I’m tracking discounts in the cruise planner.
