Not sure if this question has been asked before, but this seemed like the best place to do it!

If I attend, and live at, college in southern Cali or in Florida do I qualify for the respective discounts, even though it is not my home state?

Thanks in advance everyone!

I didn't even know Disneyland had college discounts. I know for their AP they have So Cal Select and So Cal levels for Southern California residents. I can't remember if when you first get an AP they ask for ID or just zip code. Been so long because I just renew now. But maybe just you can show an temporary address if you want one of those levels. Otherwise you have to get the Deluxe or Premium APs.

And I have no idea how Disney World AP's work so maybe someone else here does.

Disneyland does not have AP college discounts BUT if you go to school in SoCal and therefore live there you can get one of the SoCal resident only APs by simply using your school address. I know, because I've done it. Used my dorm address for the first year I had an annual pass then when I renewed I bought a premium so I just used my real home address on the east coast since premium doesn't care where you live. Rightly so with how much it costs.

Thanks! :) I wasn't implying that the discount was college specific, just the regional discounts.

Aah figure you didn't literally mean college discounts but wasn't sure. Haha. Would be nice though. I know my school offers ticket discounts(not by much) but no APs lol.

The Walt Disney World Resort no longer accepts Student ID Cards issued by a Florida College or University as proof of Florida Residency. You would need to present another form of ID, such as a Driver's Licence or State ID Card issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles or a Military ID showing stationment at a Florida-based facility.

At the Disneyland Resort, local resident discounts are only extended to residents of Southern California and of the northern portion of the Mexican State of Baja California, as opposed to residents of a single state. As such, you would need to provide a valid form of ID that displays your U.S. Zip Code or Mexican Código postal. This could take the form of a valid Driver's Licence or State ID Card issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles or the Baja California Secretaría de Planeación y Finanzas.
