SoCal AP renewal

Hi. Our SoCal AP expire on December 20th and we're thinking about going to DLR/DCA on Nov 24th and Nov 25th. Nov 24th is a blackout date for us but we're planning on renewing our AP while we're there so this way we can get a blackout date pass with our renewal on Nov 24th.

First of all, can anybody confirm if they're still offering this benefit of renewing on a black out date? I haven't heard otherwise and it's been that way for some time so I'm hoping we're still good to go with entrance on that Saturday.

Secondly, I believe you can only renew about 40 days prior to your expiration date but I couldn't find this on the website. We'll be a little under 30 days. Can anybody confirm if we'll be ok to renew when we go?

Lastly, I know the SoCal AP is not available for new purchases but can anybody confirm if we'll still be able to renew at the SoCal level or will they not allow us to renew these passes and force us to pick a current available pass? If they allow us to renew, can anybody tell me how much they're going for now?

They SHOULD allow you to renew at the So Cal level, but as with all things Disney that is subject to change. As for Blackout dates, it seems to change a lot, so I can't say. And I believe 40 days is right, so you should be good there.

I don't know the answer to this but would be interested to know. Have you tried calling the AP holder line? They could tell you with some certainty.
