I was looking over the attractions at Epcot to add to our plan, and it just occurred to me- my GS5 may be too short for only two rides at WDW. RnR and SOAT. He's about 45" (I haven't measured him recently, but doubt he's 48").

Is that correct- he'd be too short for SOAT? That's actually what he's most excited about, believe it or not!

He will also be to short for Primeval Whirl. I have a 45 incher myself- it's something I've been researching! Aside from those, the only other things with high height requirements are waterslides. We're not doing waterparks, so I don't know which ones offhand.

Good! I am NOT a shrinking grandma, er, shrinking violet :), but I hate spinning things. Then I have a good excuse. Although, I did promise him earlier today that I'd do the teacups. ONCE.

I love roller coasters, and when I was a 20-something actually went on the big coasters throughout the USA with my own grandma. My dad was a coaster fanatic, and took us every summer to all the major parks in the US he could. By the time I was about 20, I had been in almost all of them, from Six Flags under Texas to Coney Island and more. My first visit to WDW was in 1972. My first visit to DL was in 1971. My grandma was an adrenaline junkie, and LOVED big roller coasters- but never would put down her "pocketbook". We were on a ride in Cedar Point in the mid 1980s, and she held her "pocketbook" on her lap, just above the lap bar, on the Corkscrew. Her purse smacked her in the face a few times on the upside down parts, but she never even flinched. And then, getting off, a huge smile and a "Wow! Let's do that again!". I want to be like her in so many ways, but I won't spin in place!
