Any idea when this attraction will open? We will be there early April.

WDW clearly wants the ride open on May 5th to coincide with the worldwide Disney celebration. If they are on target to hit that date, they will have to be testing the ride in April. What's impossible to predict is whether the ride will be open daily when you arrive, or if it will still be in a random test mode. You'll just have to keep your eyes open.

That's what I'm hoping for. Maybe an AP passholders preview!

Funny you should say that: I just got an email reminding me to renew my AP. and it mentioned a preview of Soarin' and instructed me to check out the Disney website section for AP holders. But, there's nothing there yet.
