We arrived at the airport for four fifteen am.........COULD NOT believe the zoo ....I mean lines were worse then Disney lines. School vacation for Maine and everyone wanted to make sure that they were not bumped. ALot of over booking at this time of year.
It took until ten of six to get thru getting our boarding passes and then putting our luggage thru security.........then going upstairs to the people security and it was some wicked big line.....We boarded our plane and got to MCO at quarter of twelve. Our driver from Florida Tours transportation was at the bottom of the Escalator at the luggage retrieval. His name was Tony and he was so outgoing and even held onto a conversation with the two teens. We arrived at All Star Sports and he took out our 5 big suitcases and four carryons .... We were on our way....
OUR room in the Hoops bld was ready for us and we were so happy about that. Put our luggage in our room and RAN to the food court to get some FOOD!! We got our four refillable mugs and two double cheeseburgers and fries.....one order of chicken quesaddia......with fries and one order of chicken fingers with FRIES...........we were finally contented with our stomach being filled and went back to the room to unpack. We did that in record time and proceded to go to MK......Our two grandkids are Kaitlynn who is 15 and Zachary who is 13........they kept us hopping and we had a good time with them...we used our Disney Dining Experience card and saved 16 dollars on our first purchase there at the hotel...
At MK we all did Buzz Lightyear a few times ..the kids did the cars........then over to haunted Mansion. The kids got a fast pass for Splash Mt and they went on Big Thunder Mt. railroad and then got to the Splash time and we froze... It was a little chilly the first night when the sun went down.
We went back to the hotel and the kids and hubby and I filled our drinks up and decided what they wanted to eat. Not much for we still saved six dollars with our DDE card whatever it may of been. I think we ate spaghetti and meatballs and salads that night... slept like a log after we blew up the inflatable mattess for our grandson. asked for an extra blanket and we had no problems at all
