Soarin'

We are off to Disney in a week and wondered about one of the new attractions called Soarin'. Has anyone tried it? I'm a little bit of a chicken when it comes to rides, but this looked good and sounded more like a movie-type of attraction. Thanks for any info.

This ride is great. Make sure to get FastPasses for this first thing in the morning. It is truely an amazing experiance. Even though it has all kinds of warnings it is a very gental ride. A great experiance.

Second place for ultimate "magic" experience is Mickey's Philharmagic in Fantasyland. I REALLY hope they bring that to WDW soon!

WDW already has Philharmagic, and has for a while... we saw it 2x last year and 3x this year (once with Wendy after the Family Magic Tour)
Either that or I had sunstroke!

I don't like simulators, roller coasters, etc. I tend to get motion sickess, a step ladder is my enemy, won't go on Mission Space. It is nothing like any of those types of rides. I LOVED Soarin! Went on 3 times in a row before they shut off the single riders line. If I went on it, ANYONE can go on it! You will not regret it.

I have to agree with all the other chickens here. I get motion sickness very easily. As I was standing in line for Soarin I could feel my anxiety level increase afraid I would get sick.

I did stress a tad bit at take off and I had my eyes closed. However, once our glider was in place I opened my eyes and immediately my anxiety stopped and I felt quite relaxed. No motion sickness at all.

I was hoping to go on it another time so that I could truly enjoy the experience once I knew what to expect, however I never got he chance.

Soarin was great!
