We used child swap heavily last year but, missed Soarin'. I, my dh, and dd8, don't want to miss it this time.

How does the child swap work for this ride? Do we all go through the queue even the little ones or do they give you a ticket outside the ride?

we've done this several times. me and dw ride with dd 10 while the other keeps ds 2. the best way to do it is get fastpass early in the day, get a baby swap ticket from the person at the head of the fastpass line and then grab some grapes or a coke or something to snack on when the other two go in. then wait in the area to the right of the stand by line. there are benches to sit at and the people exiting the ride walk right out into this area. simply swap places with the other adult and whoevers riding next can walk right over to the fastpass with your baby swap ticket while the other finishes up the snack you got. perfect.

They give you a "Rider Switch" ticket outside the ride.

And, don't be surprised if they ask to actually see the child. I sat at a table in the eating area w/ our 2 DS's while DH went to ride & get a Baby Swap pass. He had to come back & get a kid to show them before they'd give him the pass! :rotfl:

Okay, thanks! I was just wondering if it was like BTMRR where you get the pass outside, when you enter the queueb or like Star Tours where we switched inside.

I was hoping it would be an inside switch so, we could all cool off together.
