I have ridden Soarin probably 50 times between the Calif and World versions. Neither me nor my DW has ever gotten anything close to motion sickness. She never gets any kind of motion sickness anywhere. I only get it on Star Tours and it only last for like 10-15 minutes.
We rode Soarin this morning Dec 7 around 8:30AM. On the theater on the left. Section B1.
We both really enjoyed it and commented to each other during the ride how powerful all the smells were. Much stronger than normal. By the end of the ride we were feeling sick. It lasted for 2+ hours.
My DW is a registered nurse and noted it would be very strange for both of us to get motion sickness on Soarin for the first time ever both on the same actual ride. She speculated that the strong new smells is what made us feel sick.
We stopped by Guest Services to tell them what happened just in case there was something wrong. We wanted to make sure they had our experience documented.
Anyone else have a similar experience?
