Quite simply? No, I wouldn't. I wouldn't pay anything for that. I have absolutely no desire to have my vacation have as much of a detailed schedule (or more of one!) than I have at work. I don't think I'm an oddball in that either. Yes, people don't like lines...that doesn't mean they want to be 100% prescheduled in order to avoid them.
ScottieMouse said:I think the majority of people are like you not wanting everything scheduled, but there is a significant market for people who are willing to spend more to guarantee they wouldn't have to stand in line.
If you told me I could spend an extra ($100? $200?) a day and be able to prebook every single ride for my stay at Disney World I would probably do it. I wouldn't pay much more, but I am willing to bet there are plenty who would drop a lot of cash to do just that.
You are so late to the party, Flip. I sang that yesterday. Not to be confused with...
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Current wait time for TSMM is 85 minutes....so no test.
Dammit Jim! I can't keep up with the threads some days. How about this one: Lines, lines everywhere lines Messin up the scenery Wastin' my time Can't ride this, can't ride that Have you seen the lines?**Disclaimer: The above post is a parody attempted to convey humor. The author is not implying that Disney sucks or that you can no longer have fun** at Disney. **Fun limited by availability and not offered for all attractions.

Lines, lines everywhere lines
Messin up the scenery
Wastin' my time
Can't ride this, can't ride that
Have you seen the lines?*

The lyrics are great but the disclaimer rocks!

They already have a place for that market...the 2 new tours they unveiled last month and the VIP Tours..
I would do this in a second, no question about it.
I'm actually going to Disney for 5 days in October and then Universal for 2. I was easily sold on the express pass option (even tho it doesn't work for Potter...which sucks).
People would complain, but I would love to be able to throw more money at Disney and skip the lines. I know the "VIP" tour option is available, but the whole paying per hour to have someone tour the place with you is too much. I just want a VIP ticket...but I understand how that would make others upset haha.
I took it a step farther and booked a (throwaway?) night at the Hard Rock because the cost was approximately the same as the passes after I found a deal on the room. Plus it provides the early park admission, which I think is worth it.
If Disney offered similar options, many people would pay with a smile on their face.

And your Unlimited Express pass is good for two days at Universal...the day you check in and check out.![]()
There's a grief that can't be spoken.
There's a pain goes on and on.
Empty lines but queue is closed
Now my chance to ride is gone.
Here they talked of reservations.
Here it was they passed the blame.
Here they sang about short waits
But short waits never came.

As sung by Johnny Cash
I keep a close watch on this band of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time
I keep close track for the time that binds
And if it's not, I stand in line

Very broad disclaimer. Covers SB+ incidents, and Captain EO all the time. Well done.
Good point. I guess I see that as the 1% option for the very rich. The option I was thinking of was more the upper middle class option where I am spending more money, but I don't want a tour guide holding my hand the whole way.
