Soarin' Over the World Premiere Date?

Has there been any announcements as to the opening date for the new update to Soarin?

All I've heard is that it won't premiere until after the opening of Shanghai Disneyland which is expected to be in June 2016.

Pretty much that is it! I have not even heard the above - just people speculating. I think Shanghai DL is scheduled for like June 16.

Does anyone know if they will close down the theater for the changeover? Possible visit the first week of June and would like to see the old one before it goes away.

I doubt anyone will know for sure, but I know they've done several recent refurbs which were rumored to be in preparation for the new show, so I would guess that though they may have to close, it will probably be a brief closure if it's true that they've already done the programming. I don't think it's something you can really plan your dates around since as far as I know they haven't even confirmed the premier date yet.
