It was a freakin' TRIBUTE, nothing more! It's not like it's a commercially created venture for profit.

orljustin, I'm curious if on every picture you've taken at a ballpark or at Disney or anywhere like that has the permission of that organization and their copyright on it.

Save the arguements for something more meaningful than a harmless fan tribute.

Well it looks VERY similar to another "Soarin over Florida" post done several months ago. Many of the scenes are exactly the same.

I was unaware that anyone else did a Soarin' over Florida. I knew people had talked about Disney doing it, but ive never seen anything.

isnt it possible that both that person and myself used the same footage tape 'Over Florida'?

When I was looking for footage to use, that was the only video I could find that had a 'soarin' feeling.

Yes, they are working on another Soarin. My dd4 made friends with one of the Soarin employee's. This employee was so smitten about my dd that she road with us once. We got to talk to her about her Soarin. The Soarin at Disney World was just called Soarin, DisneyLand is called Soarin over California. They just called it Soarin so that they could change the film from California after a couple of years. They are currently working on getting permits to film all over the world. She thought that we should see a new film in about 2 years.

Thanks for sharing that. I had no idea someone else had made it.

Honestly i like mine better. I tried to capture a lot of the same feel, and i added the wind and the birds sounds etc... Heck, if i could put fans in my living room. and spray smells, i would.. lol.

But its nice to see a different perspective of how someone else would do it.
