Ive been working on making a Soarin Over Florida. This is the first version. It has some bugs. But I thought you would all enjoy seeing it.

Great job....but you'll never get the BUGS out of Floirda. I know I've been trying to do this for years.

It's good, really, *really* good!!! Adding in the sounds, the ocean, the birds, and others make it really come alive!

Now that you have shown a "Soarin' over Florida" can really work, maybe Disney will pick up the idea (and ask you to help with it).

Anyways, why a Florida based Soarin? The point of Soarin' over California was that it was California themed because it was in DCA, a Disney park themed around California and its history.

Epcot is a vision of the entire world. What we need is a Soarin' movie that celebrates a trip around the globe. Start and end in New York and head East.

I kept waiting for the OP to mention that "this" Soarin' in merely a simple cut-down of the hard work of others.

It disturbs me when something like this is passed off as original work.

I did mention, that the footage was from 'Over Florida' a show that aired on PBS, that my mother taped years ago. I also mentioned it had bugs. Meaning no titles, no credits. Its a rough draft.

You can go rent 'Over Florida' from your local Library, and watch it for yourself. I'm sure you'll enjoy the 80's pron music that accompanies it.

I never said I was submitting this to Disney. Or that Disney should do this. I simply said, that I used the footage from over florida, to compile a Soarin Over Florida, and i thought other people who enjoy disney, would enjoy it.

2. Why a florida one? Why not. I didnt make this to go show Disney and demand they replace it. It was IN california, and then they brought it to Florida. Soarin is my favorite ride, and i dont want them to change it.

I lucked out finding that Over Florida, and had a lot to work with, but didnt have all i wanted... (would have rather had FSU over UF... and would have loved to have the race cars... thats somethign my mom suggested..)

Its still a work in progress. Hopefully I'll be able to add that stuff.

Apparently I should rent my own helicopter and get the shots myself... anyone got 100 grand i could borrow?
