We rode Soarin ( 2 times ) today for the first time and all I can say is "AWESOME" I can not ride anything that spins in circles or I get sick, also can not do Omnimax theatres because they make me nauseas but I could ride Soarin over and over again. Don't pass this one up, its a must do. Just make sure you fast pass. We fast passed after riding at 2:30 Pm and our return was for 7:45 - 8:45 Pm.

Thanks for the good report!
I am SOOooo looking forward to doing it!!
But with trepidation. I've been wondering how it would 'feel'? I never get sick on rides, don't like heights, but I can deal w/that... what I hate is that rollercoaster 'loose-your-stomach' feeling. Do you think I'll like it?? :scratchin

I'm like you and so is my friends mom. She said her mom loved it and I would probably would too. I think when I go to Epcot I may try it.

I do get motion sick on rides, hate heights and that lose your stomach feeling is my worst nightmare. There was no problem at all on Soarin'. It was wonderful!!!!!!!! I was worried about feeling sick the first time, since Omnimax does me in, but I felt fine. It's not to be missed.

Ditto! It's fantastic. We were in the front row. DH gets motion sickness and had no problem whatsoever. I am deathly afraid of heights and had no problems either. Do NOT miss it!

One note on Soarin, the top row is by far the best. If you get middle or bottom you can see the other peoples feet. It is still an awsome ride it's just that the top row gives you the best experience.

I LOVED Soarin and sometimes also have height issues - Wowee! - I felt a natural "high" for hours afterwards - in fact - wish we could've gone twice if not for time and FP lengths. On a recent Saturday at Epcot, all FP were GONE by noon!!

I agree 100%. WE just go back saturday, and my son loved it.

Now, this is a boy that didn't like anything that was not 100% flat.....Big thunder mountain RR was a bit traumatic(bad parents!)

I agree with the natural high post...you feel uplifted for quite a while afterward.

And the preshow video is classic for the charactrer that plays it....that's all I'm gonna say

"nice work, pal!"

I agree that Soarin is a must do.

DW has motion problems and cannot ride a lot of rides. She loves Soarin and for her, she found that if she starts feeling "bad" she looks over at the side of the ride, looking at the mechanics

Shortly after that she is fine and can enjoy the rest of the ride.

We LOVED Soarin', too. It really gave all of us the wow!! This was also our first trip for Mission Space (didn't wow me, just made me green).

Make sure you take in the smells of Soarin, all I can say is, again, WOW!! :earseek:

We loved Soarin and did it 3 times during our trip in Sept. Not sure what others saw but we were in the last row the last 2 times and never had problems with folks feet and felt much more like we were about to hit the waves or trees etc. Now this is one of our FAV rides!

:Pinkbounc WOW!!! Thanks so much everyone!! Now I am really excited!
Thirty-five days and counting!!! :Pinkbounc :jumping1: :Pinkbounc

I love Soarin' so much too! But I don't even look at it as a ride, is that strange? To me, it's a movie where they bring you very close to the screen and involve you in the movement of it with all your senses.

I don't do rollercoasters (I DID do RnR - never again) because my fears are speed and drops - Soarin' is my absolute favorite!!!

We rode Soarin in August expecting it to be so different and awesome, but we werent so impressed. It was a nice little simulator ride, but we didnt think it lived up to the hype being made about it on the Dis boards. Btw... We were on the highest row.

Me too-- I didn't see it as a ride because they dont really strap you in (loose seatbelt on your lap, that's it). It is much more like a movie theatre and you're sitting right up next to it.

Definitely get first row if you can. We did, and it was marvellous. I've heard that if you're not in the first row, because you hang below the first row, you'll see their dangling feet.

We also thought it was FANTASTIC! It has definately become a new favorite for us.
